Already on Bonzo and wondering whether Spark covers it? Here is what each AI does, based on Bonzo’s own help center and LoanWick’s live features.
Spark helps you write.
LoanWick has the conversation.
Bonzo Spark is Bonzo’s built-in AI for writing campaigns and event messages. On October 13, 2026, Bonzo launched Bonzai, which its help center calls the AI built into Bonzo. Bonzai’s Assistant asks before it sends or changes anything, and Compose suggests a first draft. Checked October 17, 2026, those articles do not describe either tool replying to leads on its own.
LoanWick is a separate assistant. It holds the live text conversation inside Bonzo, follows up in the stages you allow, and helps book appointments. They do different jobs, so they can work side by side. Does Bonzo’s AI reply to leads?
What Bonzo Spark
does.
- ✓Generates a full campaign from a goal (Engage, Convert, Sell, or Response), a style (Formal, Friendly, Humorous, or Convincing), the number of sending days, and events per day. Source
- ✓Generates individual event messages in the campaign editor, using Bonzo merge tags and emojis. Bonzo recommends reviewing the language so it matches your voice. Source
- ✓Bonzo’s AI features also include call and voicemail transcription and summaries, shown in the conversation view. Source · Source
- ✓Runs on Bonzo’s token system. AI features are available to accounts on token-based communication, and some AI actions use tokens. Source · Source
- ✓Admins can turn AI features on or off for their team, including Spark and transcription separately. Source
- ✓Bonzai, launched October 13, 2026, is described as the AI built into Bonzo. The Assistant asks before it sends or changes anything. Creation Flow builds campaigns, and nothing goes live until you review it. Compose’s sparkle button suggests a first draft. Source · Source
- ✓The same Bonzai article describes Call Review, transcription, a Voice Profile, ringless voicemail and personalized video, and says more features are rolling out soon. It does not say Bonzai replaced Spark. Source
The live conversation,
with your rules.
- ✓Replies to leads by text using available Bonzo history, CRM notes, pipeline stage, and the officer’s instructions.
- ✓Follows up quiet leads in the stages you enable, after checking holds, opt-outs, and texting windows.
- ✓Offers times from the officer’s availability, shares their booking link, and can note the appointment in Bonzo.
- ✓Steps back when the loan officer texts the lead.
- ✓AI calling is built and rolling out; it needs voice setup and consent confirmation first.
- ✓Does not build Bonzo campaign sequences. It writes each message for the conversation in front of it.
Bonzo Spark vs LoanWick,
job by job.
The Spark column is limited to what Bonzo publishes in its help center. Where Bonzo’s Spark articles don’t describe a job, we say so instead of guessing.

|---|---|---|
| Writing campaigns and templates | Yes. Generates campaigns and event messages from a goal and style. | No. LoanWick doesn’t build campaign sequences. |
| Live two-way replies to leads | Not described in the Spark or Bonzai articles checked October 17, 2026.* | Yes. Text replies using Bonzo history, notes, and stage. |
| Follow-up of quiet leads | Through the Bonzo campaigns you run. Bonzo campaigns can loop leads who don’t respond. | Yes, in the stages you enable, after opt-out, hold, and timing checks. |
| AI phone calls | Transcribes and summarizes calls and voicemails. | Inbound and outbound AI calls are built and rolling out. Setup and consent come first. |
| Appointment booking | Not described in the Spark articles we reviewed.* | Offers times from officer availability and shares the booking link. |
| Loan officer takeover | Bonzo campaigns have a setting to stop when a prospect responds, so you can take over. | Steps back when the loan officer texts. An optional, configurable wait can give the officer the first chance to reply. It is not always on. |
| Pricing model | Bonzo’s token system. Some AI actions use tokens. | Monthly subscription by lead volume, from $49/mo. No per-seat fee. Bonzo is billed separately. |
* Bonzo’s July 31, 2026 release notes mention a Conversations indicator for prospects “your AI responder is engaged with.” The note doesn’t say whether that is Spark or a connected tool, so ask Bonzo for current details. The campaign loop and stop-on-response settings come from Bonzo’s Campaigns overview.
Can you use both?
Yes. Spark or Bonzai can draft a nurture campaign in Bonzo. LoanWick can handle the replies when a lead writes back and, in the stages you allow, reopen conversations that went quiet. See what Bonzo’s help center does and does not describe.
If you run both, decide which stages your Bonzo campaigns cover and which stages LoanWick works, so leads don’t get overlapping messages. Bonzo’s stop-on-response campaign setting and LoanWick’s stage rules make that split easy to keep.
